Eva Karkanis

Young woman with light brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a dark sweater, has a yellow flower in her hair, standing outside in a garden or backyard.

Eva Karkanis is a singer and instrumentalist from Toronto, Canada. Growing up in a musical family, she found a love for singing early on and picked up piano and guitar along the way, often performing at coffee houses and talent nights.

Her sound has a folky acoustic feel, with warm vocals over finger-picked guitar, inspired by artists like Bruce Cockburn, Gordon Lightfoot, and Natalia Lafourcade.

Three performers on stage, two playing guitars and one singing, with stage lights overhead and an audience in the foreground.

Over the years, Eva has shared the stage with other musicians as a guest performer and collaborator, and has played at farmers’ markets, open mics, and venues in both Canada and Mexico — including Toronto’s Small World Music.

Eva now divides her time between Toronto and CDMX.
